International Hustlers make a splash at Weissmuller Pool.
On August 30th the sun was hot. It’s the type of Southern California weather that drives people to the cool water of the pool or beach. The International Hustlers greeted the patrons of the Weissmuller Pool with their signature live music sound. The band consisted of Chris Lougeay [Guitar], Charlie Arbelaez [Alto Sax], Chris Duvall [Bass], Jake Najor [Drums], and rookie keyboardist Chaz Cabrera [Organ].
The Lafayette Hotel marketing director had this to say of the group,
“I’ve been meaning to book The International Hustlers for a long time now and finally had the chance to hire them to play on the pool deck. The vibe was amazing and all of our guests were enjoying the music. It was the perfect feel-good complement to a bright, sunny day by the pool. But I’m sure they’re good for evenings as well, since many of the pool goers were dancing to the band’s groovy music. Also, the business dealings were professional and all of the band members were very friendly.
